 Apr. 15, 2009 (Baseball Musings delivered by Newstex ) -- Does anyone think the Nationals and the Rangers miss Armando Galarraga (a five A player)? With his 6 1/3 shutout innings against the White Sox Wednesday afternoon, Galarraga owns a 15-7 record with a 3.52 ERA since joining the Tigers . Right now, theres nothing outstanding about his career K, BB and HR, but theyre improving this season. If he actually makes the leap to better control and a better strikeout rate, more in line with his minor league numbers, both his former teams will be kicking themselves.
