 May 5, 2009 (Baseball Musings delivered by Newstex ) -- Clete Thomas posted a good OBA in his 40 games for the Tigers in 2008. Making his 2009 debut tonight, hes continued that and added power. Thomas double and tripled in his first two at bats driving in two runs as the Tigers jump out to a 6-0 lead on Minnesota in the fourth. Clete is 25, so hes coming to the majors in his prime, so he should be ready to make some noise if he wants to stick around. Newstex ID: 34702894
